Nyoki Handmade label is inspired by a mother and daughter duo that combine each of their talents to create exquisite handmade greeting cards and gifts with love and care.

Inspiration came from the childhood. We come from Kosovo and handmade crafting is a tradition. We were raised mostly with handmade clothes and our homes were decorated mostly with things made by ourselves. I learned crafting from my mum; my mum learned it from her mum, grandma learned it from hers and my daughter who is only 3 and half is learning it from me. It is something that we pass on - so we thought why not pass it as a gift to someone that we don't know. So this is how we gave birth to NYOKI.

Handmade; our style is eclectic, a combination of vintage, traditional with modern. Traditional details and crafting methods are used to create our contemporary items. Our clothes, including accessories and cards, are all handmade using the highest quality natural, organic and eco-friendly materials and come in a wealth of beautiful and natural colors. What makes them special is that every design has the nostalgic feel of days gone by.

Our products are designed in London and handmade in both the UK and Kosovo. Nyoki works closely with job creation programs in Kosovo, giving female survivors of the Kosovo war the confidence and the financial means to support themselves and their families. While the designs for our gifts, accessories and cards are the same, no two handmade things are quite the same. Every product is individually handmade by Nyoki therefore there may be slight variation on each design. Our superior quality makes a fantastic impression on the recipient. Organic cotton is cotton that is grown without pesticides from plants which are not genetically modified. Though organic cotton has less environmental impact than conventional cotton, it costs more to produce.

Since it doesn't have pesticides, chemicals, bleaches or artificial colors, Naturally Colored Cotton is extremely pure; thus, reducing allergies and respiratory problems. It also feels softer to the skin and has a pleasant smell.

It is claimed that clothes made from naturally colored organic cotton aren't just natural, stylish and comfortable to wear; they are a more gentle alternative for children and mother earth.

Bamboo is more antibacterial than cotton or wool, which are very absorbent and hold moisture in. Because bamboo wicks moisture away, it's great for your circulation and skin. Bamboo is lightweight and breathable and it has sheen and is a soft fiber.

Cotton is soft, breathable and it is cool against the skin. Its beauty and natural comfort make the world a better place. It's often the first fiber we touch when we are born into the world.

Merino Wool feels like silk, is hardwearing, is lightweight and it keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino fiber is a fraction of the diameter, which is one of the reasons why the Merino garment doesn't itch. Merino is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin. The wool provides some warmth, without overheating the wearer. It draws moisture (sweat) away from the skin. Merino can warm and cool your body by absorbing and releasing moisture.

Kids Mohair with Silk Mohair is luxuriously soft with a characteristic fluffiness, is light and has the lovely, slight luster of kid mohair. The silk shines through a halo of translucent mohair, giving anything amazing definition and drape.
